The Family comes home!

After 3 nights at the hospital, we were all ready to stretch our legs a bit and get home! What fun to have Maddie in the house and to be able to nap on our own couch!

First, thank you for all the responses and good tidings. We are doing great. Maddie is getting some light therapy for a build up of bilirubins (see google for definition)It is for a mild case of Jaundice, and nothing to be worried about. We are staying at the hostpital at least one more evening. Lisa and Mike are doing wonderfully. We view it as a little dose of sunshine for Maddie.

1 Day Old

Lisa, Madelyn and I are doing well. We had a good first night and we got to experience meconium? Only those who have, know? We are being treated to a candlelight dinner from the hospital (on our tab I assume)which will be nice and are spending tonight in the hospital as well. We will be heading home tomorrow. Nesting

We have been in nesting mode the past couple of weeks getting the house ready. We now have the BK's room all set up and are waiting on the wonderful Grandma gift of a rocking chair to arrive. A HUGE THANK YOU to Grandma Hoersting, Grandma Krasula and Grandma Gore. We will post pics when it arrives. We feel good about the house for now, are packed and ready, just need to put the car seat in and woohoo here we go.

I must admit that the anticipation is nuts! We are excited and anxious to meet this little dude or dudette.

Dinner at the Haspela's

Dinner with friends in Kelly at Kevin and Laura's place. In attendance besides the hosts were Margot & Andy, Jason, Jean and Owen, Lisa and Myself! A fun evening...and new pics to the prego series from the dinner and a few other pics.

Here are some updated pics of Lisa! She's looking good and feeling good, with the occasional ache here and there. We have been busy getting the place ready, upstairs, babies room, bathroom, closet, whew...still working on it but it's coming together. Click on the pics to enlarge, I think.
