Spring break cont'd

Good couple of days. Saw some good birds today which made us realize how rusty we are with birds. Also had a great carriage ride along some horse farms here in Ocala. Horse capital, with over 300,000 horses in the county. Apparently the limestone rock in the soil contributes selenium which is key to horses hence the popularity of the area and horse farms.

Spring Break "Florida"

We are enjoying the beginnings of spring break in Ocala. It all started with Lots of legroom in first class!! Gotta love traveling with air miles. Madelyn's response was priceless. "Whoa this is fancy" which was after they brought us hot towels and warm roasted nuts!!!

Gearing up for spring break!

We are gearing up for a Florida Grandparent tour, but here's a few shots from the last few days.


Madelyn's Kindergarten class she's on a K/1st combo) gearing up for a production of 'Caps For Sale!' it was well done!:)

Birthday party

Madelyn turns 6 tomorrow!! We had the whole K/1st class over for an Egyptian themed party- a great time by all! We got all dressed up, walked like an Egyptian, wrapped each other up like mummies, and pinned some gold on a pyramid.

Noodle bake (?!) is the requested meal for tomorrows actual birthday. Madelyn is bussing to town after shook to get her own LIBRARY card, a really big deal! More pictures to come...

Skiing up in the Park
