Prepping for Halloween

Yesterday we hit the town Square for pumpkins! M and M looked over hundreds of choices and narrowed it down to 2 big and 3 tiny pumpkins. Carving begins today.





Heres Madelyn in a mask... Not her Halloween costume, but getting into the spirit none the less.


And, Miles having fun in a giant IKEA bag. It also foibles as a "car" that gets dragged around on the carpet.

Adventure in the park

Last beautiful day for a while- we headed into the Park. Lunch at Dornan's (cheese sale season, yum!) and then played around Bradley Taggart until the map time crash hit. Great time had by all!

Cook out at String Lake

Late season cook out with The Lemke crew and Cook/Bassonettes... Hotdogs and s'mores, with some salad thrown in for good measure. We tried to catch some elk bugling, but with no luck. Could have had something to do with 5 tired and sugared up kids running around:)

Autumn Hike

We had a great hike up in the park Saturday with Chris and Karsten. Grand Teton is so nice this time of year, fall colors, cool mornings and warm days. We headed up toward Leigh lake, and didn't quite make it. Had a picnic on the north end of String Lake and lots of playing and exploring along the way.

Miles

A couple of pics with the little dude! The one of the locker is while Maddie is in dance class and Miles and I roam around the center for the arts and have discovered all the cool nooks and crannies. Second one is at the playground, little man is getting brave!

Leaf walk clip

Leaf walk

After clearing the stomach bug (!), we made it out on a leaf walk on sunday. Miles was thrilled to be catching a glimpse of the horses (neigh-neighs), Madelyn was collecting leaves for a project, andover and I were just grateful for a little fresh air!
