Leah visits!

Our good friends the Sibleys are back in town for a short while- we had a great play day with Leah today!

Miles' new favorite move it down-dog... Saggy diaper in action. No, we don't dress Miles in those leg Warner's often, but this poor little guy's knees are touched up from summertime crawling... Good thing his walking is getting better!

Madelyn reads to Miles

Miles has become enthralled with books lately and this morning Madelyn spontaneously picked up his favorite book and read to him:) what a lovey sister!

Last night we met up with friends at Dornans and Madelyn (princess cowgirl) found a dollar right outside the car..."this most be my luckiest week!" she yelled. The dollar went towards frozen yogurt.

What a mobile bunch we've become in the last week or do ! Miles is walking for short stretches and Madelyn is biking without training wheels! Fun stuff!

Granite Hot Springs!

Madelyn and I met the Lemke crew for a soak in Granite hot springs today... It was the perfect soaking weather- cold, light snow, and beautifully scenic (yes, June in the mountains!).

Sun Valley

Here are some pics from the Sun Valley weekend. It was a great time with the boys and we were lucky to meet our good friend kevin their as he had the long drive from hood river Oregon. I was definitely the caboose! I think one conversation I had with some folks on the trail sums it up best when they passed me going down as I was huffing and puffing going up. I was taking a break and they said well at least you get to stop and enjoy the view. Let's just say I had lots of time to take in the view. We also got out and played some golf, played some poker, and took in the town. All in all a great weekend and I highly recommend checking out sun valley. A cool little mountain town...where everyone seems to take happy pills!

Weekend adventures

Michael is in Sun Valley having some QT with The Boys on a biking/golfing adventure this weekend. The kids and I have had a packed few days with lots of fun time with friends. Picnic dinner at the park on Friday, Madelyn worked at Josh's garage sale selling muffins, lots of yard time and Miles practicing his almost-walking, dinner at Margot's on Saturday, hiking and ice cream with Tate and crew on Sunday....we've finally hit sunny summer weather here in JH! 7 more kid-days of school and 3 more teacher days after that, and then PLAY TIME EVERYDAY!!
