Rainy days with a hint of sun

Madelyn, Miles and I brought out the tent this morning - a sure sign of a rainy day. They had a so much fun tumbling around each other in there, it's becoming more and more fun to watch them interact with giggles, love, and many a glimmer of impishness. Madelyn and I caught the bus to Old West Day parade on the Town Square. My favorite goofy cowgirl was striking all sorts of poses! We had a great time and caught the few existing rays of sunshine today.

Birding, Morels and more

Well the fam ventured out and met up with Andy and Bryan for what is usually the "big day" birding adventure which used to be a dusk til dawn day in the field looking for birds. Although as things have changed in the past 4 years, the days have progressively gotten shorter with less and less birding. Today was mostly the four of us looking around for birds or other cool treasures and keeping miles from eating rocks and elk poop. All in all pretty successful. We also looked around for some morels with no luck. They should be up soon, I think.

Busy!

Whew, busy few weeks, sorry not so frequently posting! Miles turned 11 months! Picnic at park, miles loving Maddie at breakfast, mothers day bouquet...

Happy Mothers Day hike

The family outing was a mothers day hike from the Murie center out to the snake river...for some "beach time" and a picnic. A good day spent in the park.

Ice cream for dinner!

Free ice cream at Haagendas, an annual ice cream judah in JH! We had ours for dinner:)
