Andy Z and Trish

Michaels good friend from college, Andy and his girlfriend Trish are out visiting. They hiked in the park today to Taggert lake, saw bison, a moose 15 feet off the trail and a herd of cow elk in the park. Then they joined us for dinner and some playtime at the park on our street!! Good to have them out all week.

Bird walk this morning

Madelyn and lisa went to cache creek for a little bird walk this morning! A little bit early season, but fun none the less. Miles has just learned how to wave and clap and couldn't be more proud of his new skills... Video to come!

Happy Birthday Lisa!!!

Happy 36 to Lisa!! Lisa had a great day at school with her students, and came home to celebrate with the family. Maddie and papa made triple-berry pie, with blueberries, blackberries and strawberries, and topped with some vanilla ice cream! Maddie also made a a great card complete with a boat , a garden and googley eyes!!!

Miles is just itching to try standing on his own....days away? Lots of sibling fun now that miles is more independent!

Fun at the dentist!!

Maddie loves going to the dentist for chocolate and bubblegum. Those were the flavors for her cleaning gel. Plus a treasure chest and cool sunglasses to wear!

Home in time to dye eggs!

Well, after a hellacious day of travel, we made it home to jh late last night. And what did we do first thing? Dye eggs! We made dye out of beets, red cabbage, and turmeric. Patterns included some crayons and rubber-bands this year. Turned out beautifully! Look for the egg that Madelyn made for Miles with his name one it:)
