Weekend

Lots if fun this weekend... We played with Maddie's friend , who is long-term borrowing one of our fish! Madelyn and Michael hit the slopes, Miles continues to practice his crawling and is just itching to pop out 4 top teeth at any moment, Lisa read a book (!), and we braced for the week (Lisa's parent teacher conference week).

Oh, and Madelyn became a functional writer! Look at the word "potatoes" that she snuck on the grocery list! Inventive spelling is the best!:)

Haircuts!

Mine at the salon, maddie's in the tub salon! We'll see how it looks when it dries....

Presidents' Day Weekend

Skiing, sledding, ice skating, playing at the Wildlife Museum, and a presidents' birthday party!





On Saturday we all ventured out to Kelly School for a short ski and Madelyn's first skate. We met a new friend Leah who will be in Madelyn's Kindergarten class in a year and a half... (!). Madelyn was completely in love with the sport because of the "fancy" helmet of course!

Tonight we are headed to Karsten's house for a Presidential Birthday Party! We have already made flags and brought pennies and quarters for everyone (so we can see the presidents' faces), and will make cupcakes once we get there. Pictures to come...

Valentines, 8 months!

Happy Valentines Day to all! A few movie clips and pictures for you... featuring valentines socks, balloons, tomato soup and grilled cheese, treats, and flowers (roses from a first grader, not even in my class!!)

The biggest news though is that Miles has decided to crawl in the last few days. He seems to be phasing out his crazy back scoot and sticking more to his front side. Really, he picked this skill up in a matter of days, it was just a decision on his part and that was that! He seems most motivated to cross the floor when lured by any type of technology... This weekend's chore list: put up the gate at the top of the stairs and baby proof a few nooks and crannies!

Miles

Here's the happy little man. He has teeth coming up top now. We all had busy weekend. Maddie had play date at her friend Carolyn's house all day. We were not sure if she was ever going to come home, she did and was exhausted!! They played hard. Lisa got out on skate ski and Michael hit the king for some snowboarding.

The high chair is back !

The high chair us back! We took it down for a while so that Madelyn wouldn't feel any attachment when we brought it out for Miles... Miles LOVES it, and Madelyn couldn't care less:). Perfect!
