Hockey Tournament

This was a big weekend of fun events in town. Friday night was the sled dog races from town square that run by our house which Maddie loves. The neighbors kept trying to hand the racers beer as they went by...good times. It's an annual event that is fun as everyone is out watching the race and cheering. Town square is rockin with live music and other free stuff. It is also the same weekend for the women's hockey tournament. Our good friend Robin is on the team as well as a few other ladies we know and maddie loves watching SMS cheering them on so we went to a few games and maddie made a sign for Robjn. See pics. Some days she wants to play and other days she's not sure. Robins husband Phil was there with maddie cheering on his better half as he made the pics also.

Maddie and Michael put in two days at the king skiing after the big storm. Maddie is getting better every time out. She rode the chairlift for the first time and did great coming down, tough on the little legs, as it wore her out pretty quickly.

Also, maddie took a couple of funny pics with my phone worth putting up.

Miles plays the piano

Miles is sitting up these days, but reluctantly. He's perfectly able, but prefers to work towards crawling or standing if he has his choice. Here is a rare moment of sitting, playing the piano, with a crash landing grand finale:)

Snow and pink eyes...

Well it's official, 4 pink eyes (add Miles to the list). But... All in all the kids seem to be in good spirits!

Madelyn and mama got out this afternoon in the perfect snow conditions and built a snowman and a 3-bedroom fort! 36 degrees out!

Finally!!! A big snow!

We have been getting crushed the last few days with close to 2 feet of snow in the valley and 4 in the mountains!!!! It's been snowing all day!

Michael was home with maddie... With a case of pink eye in both eyes!! But she is in good spirits as she got to watch lots of Annie!

Play date with Karsten and Joanna. The kids painted beads they made at their last play date. Then a dance party to Beiber.......yikes. trying to post that video.

Well, sitting for 60 seconds or less, but working up to big things in life!

Cache Creek Ski

Just A quick jaunt up cache on the cross country gear...felt good, though we need more snow. Lisa and maddie went into the park this AM...for Maddie's first cross country ski! A good first day of the new year! And some new year yoga for the ladies!
