Cuddle Time

Maddie decided to pile all of our coats in the living room for some reason, so rather than fight it, I thought miles would enjoy the padded lofty perch...and then so did Maddie.

Chilly day in Wyoming

A chilly day in JH, but you still have the need to get crazy monkeys outside! Maddie and I took a walk around the neighborhood by sled.

Back to school and work for all of us tomorrow! Mixed feelings going back to work... My strategy is to just pretend I'm the sub for the next 3 weeks;)

Hood River

We traveled up to Hood River for the afternoon to have some playtime and lunch with the Haspela crew. It was fun to hang out and catch up a bit. We are excited to see them more this week in Portland. Here are a few picks of the visit.

We woke up to a decent snow, and it's still falling. Maddie is excited for some playtime in the snow.

Here's footage of Miles in his jumper, he's warming up to it more each day. And, Jackson just opened a new childrens' museum called the Clubhouse - it is exactly what our small house needed and we have already been there 4 times since it opened last saturday! Everything from imaginative play, art, science exploration.... Finally, a place to just get out of the house and PLAY!

This morning at Madelyn's suggestion we tried miles with some rice cereal again...this time he was THRILLED about the idea! He's still working on figuring out how to get that tongue out of the way but did manage to get some gruel down. Pictures are a little blury because he was so excited!

quiet time

Well, nap time has gone the way of the dodo for the past 3 months or so... we've transitioned into "quiet time" instead, which can still be a battle. In an effort to make quiet time more alluring, I build a little tent for Madelyn to read her books in. Here's a little clip of her reading to Ella, her "new born baby." Turn your volume up on this one, she's whispering. I seemed to have caught about the ONLY time she was quiet during this "quiet time."

What fun! We hit Town Square for some trick-or-treating last night (won't be doing THAT again!? NUTHOUSE!) and then headed over to Margot and Andy's for dinner. Here is Madelyn and Tate on their front porch... I'm sure I've said it before, but I just can't get enough of these two together!!
