Our "Top 10" List from 2011

A new tradition was born tonight - we created our "top 10" list from the year over dinner tonight. I'm excited to try this each year and read back over our old lists!

Madelyn learned how to finger knit today! Wow, and she's GOOD! Here she is reading to Miles, sporting the finished product on her neck!

Skiing

Madelyn tells me she's a "super awesome" skier, Miles and I headed to the Hill today to check it out for ourselves... Sure enough, she is!:)

Back log of holiday flikcs/picts

Pictures of Madelyn in her "librarian glasses" again this morning. Also, Lisa's first ski of the year - nothing fancy, just a quick few loops around the Jackson Elementary field which was newly groomed. In the negative numbers this morning, but might have graced us with single digits this afternoon...Cold and fast skiing!

Sitting on a large stash of movies to post, but having technical trouble... stay posted for Madelyn's holiday program, Miles giggling at flapping blankets, and Tate and Maddie reading a book together in their fort this morning.

Christmas Eve sledding!!

Maddie and Michael braved the cold to try out the Jackson Hole Elementary sledding hill... Right on the elk refuge. Merry Christmas to all!! More pics to come.

Opened a Chanukah gift tonight from friends.... Cute hats! Maddie is sleeping in hers tonight

Christmas break, here we come!

Madelyn is playing librarian in the pict with glasses, salt dough family is a combo of vintage 1976 (thx mom!) and ornimates I made with my class today. One more day of school...!

6 months for Miles!!

So today we celebrate the little mans half birthday and celebrate Maddie's big sis half birthday! Pearl street bagels for everyone after dance class.

Last few days

Hooray for the weekend! Brunch with Bryan and Emily and their bunny, dinner with Lemkes, swimming, muffin making, kids museum... Lots of fun had!

Miles "backwards worm"

Miles has just started rolling from
His belly to his back this week which is not the most graceful move, but hopefully will aide in sleeping. He also does this funny maneuver on his back, it's kind of like the worm on his back. Enjoy!

Morning pic

Snuggle time!

After a fun bath together, M and M snuggle in Maddie's bed with their robots from my friend Anna. Madelyn asked for "a slobber Kia" from her bro before zoning out for the night. It's not always pretty, but I am so thankful that we've turned the corner from those crazier early months of siblinghood!!

Cuddle Time

Maddie decided to pile all of our coats in the living room for some reason, so rather than fight it, I thought miles would enjoy the padded lofty perch...and then so did Maddie.

Chilly day in Wyoming

A chilly day in JH, but you still have the need to get crazy monkeys outside! Maddie and I took a walk around the neighborhood by sled.

Back to school and work for all of us tomorrow! Mixed feelings going back to work... My strategy is to just pretend I'm the sub for the next 3 weeks;)

Hood River

We traveled up to Hood River for the afternoon to have some playtime and lunch with the Haspela crew. It was fun to hang out and catch up a bit. We are excited to see them more this week in Portland. Here are a few picks of the visit.
